Robert Redwood MD, MPH
Dr. Redwood works full-time as an emergency physician and serves as the chairperson of the Divine Savior Healthcare Inc Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee. Dr. Redwood recently accepted a position as the president of the Wisconsin chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and regularly advocates for patient safety and quality issues at the state and national level.
Dr. Redwood received his MD from Rush University School of Medicine in Chicago. During medical school he was an Albert Schweitzer Fellow and a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He is dual-trained in Emergency Medicine and Preventive Medicine and was chief resident during his training at the University of Wisconsin. He recently completed a masters of public health at UW and holds a voluntary faculty position with the UW department of family and community medicine. His areas of research and scholarly publications include medical error, antimicrobial stewardship and applied epidemiology/population health.
