Abstract Team involvement is an integral part of any successful Six Sigma implementation. Research shows that Six Sigma rates high in providing an organization with improvements in productivity, cost of quality, work flow, and cycle-time reduction. Survey participants rated employee morale and customer satisfaction as less important elements in a Six Sigma implementation. Respondents provided feedback related to the role of senior management, methods of communication, the importance of teams and team members, and metrics. Team members create successful solutions and use quantifiable skills to demonstrate the need for Six Sigma implementations within an organization. Six Sigma implementers learned that it was critical to determine the project stakeholders and get their input on how to improve the process.
