Abstract The collective cultural unconscious is a pool of shared impression that determines the behaviors of individuals within a culture. These imprintings form the personal guidance system for future behavior that becomes a cultural archetype distinguishing one culture from another. Studies have been undertaken to understand quality, improvement, and teamwork within the context of American and other cultures. A summary is given for what was learned from the survey about these archetypes and how leaders can use these cultural traits to encourage cooperation and fulfill their organization’s goals. More information is available online.
