Abstract While the Bellin Health System in Green Bay, WI, has long been committed to continuous improvement in healthcare, its measurement control system was based on a paper reporting system that was neither timely nor accessible. Bellin’s quality resource department proposed redesigning the reporting process with performance improvement software to monitor processes through the use of control charts and provide feedback. The system provided an interface for multiple levels of reporting for different users, allowing Bellin to meet increasing demands from accrediting and credentialing agencies. A sidebar article describes Bellin Health at a glance.
