Ms. Susan Peiffer

A certified Six Sigma Black Belt with over 30 years of hospital experience leading a variety of areas including clinical laboratory, infection control, radiation oncology, palliative care and performance improvement. Sue has extensive experience in service and performance excellence programs as well as experience leading Lean and Six Sigma teams.

Sue is a Senior Member of ASQ with 6 years as a member of the Society and the Healthcare Division and has most recently served as the Healthcare Body of Knowledge Content Chair for the Healthcare Division.

Sue is a Team Leader in the Wisconsin Forward Award program that promotes performance excellence using the Baldrige National Quality Criteria. Sue began a career in healthcare after a three-year tour of duty in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. She is the President of the Board of Directors for the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic, a clinic that provides medical care to the uninsured and under-served people in the community and is supporting efforts to create a world class healthcare system in Nigeria. Sue lives in northwest Wisconsin with her husband, Randy.
